Lake Lanier
Lake Lanier, aka Lake Sidney Lanier, located in the northern part of Georgia, is the largest manmade lake in the nation. Lake Lanier is the most visited lakeside resort in Georgia. The 1,100-acre place offers lots of amenities and services. The Beach & WaterPark is open every year during the summertime, the world’s largest animated holiday light entertainment, takes place mid-November until the new year.
